Exton, PA, May 29, 2013 – TW Metals, Inc. (Woodinville Division) has been recognized as Supplier of the Year in the Common Aerospace Commodities category by The Boeing Company. TW Metals, Inc. was one of 16 companies honored for distinguished performance in working with Boeing.
In January, TW Metals was notified that it was one of 594 companies to receive the Boeing Performance Excellence Award which rewards performance excellence. Achieving the Supplier of the Year designation further acknowledges superior performance and labels this class of winners as best of the best.
This year’s winners represent an elite group among more than 11,000 active Boeing suppliers in nearly 52 countries around the world. This selection was based on stringent performance criteria for quality, delivery performance, cost, environmental initiatives, customer service and technical expertise.
TW Metals, Inc. has a ‘just-in-time’ cut to length program where they provide nickel, stainless steel, aluminum and titanium tubing and ducting which are then delivered to the Boeing production facilities multiple times a day.
